Building On Four Decades Of Service: Women In Transition Program Opens Fall Registration At Tri-C Western Campus

The Women in Transition program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) celebrates its 40th anniversary this fall with a new session of classes at Western Campus to empower women in their pursuit of education, training and a career.

Classes will be held at Western Campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Aug. 27 to Oct. 17. The eight-week course is designed to assist women in transitional periods of their lives, such as a career change or return to the workforce.

Participants build confidence and skills through classes on personal development, career exploration and financial and computer literacy. The noncredit program is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Tri-C’s Women in Transition program began in 1978 and has contributed to thousands of personal success stories. It typically serves about 300 women a year.
