Pippin To Open At Cassidy Theatre October 6

Henry Foraker, left, as Pippin, and Gabbi Capello as Leading Player.  Both are featured in the Cassidy Theatre production of Pippin, which runs October 6-22 at the Cassidy Theatre in Parma Heights.  Foraker is a resident of North Olmsted, while Capello lives in Lakewood.

The Cassidy Theatre will present the musical Pippin, October 6-22, 2017, based upon the book by Roger O. Hirson, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.

Ian Atwood will direct the production with musical direction by Heidi Herczeg and choreography by Jen Justice.

Pippin is the story of a young prince, heir to the throne, who is searching for his own “corner of the sky.” Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and a fulfilling purpose in life. It is a story about growing up, and at the same time, a dark tale of the dangers of false appearances and empty promises.

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays with a 3 p.m. Matinee on Sundays.

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $15 for students and senior citizens.
