Seeking Tri-City Veterans Of The Korean War

After the City of Parma honored veterans of World War II as Citizens of the Month last September, that idea has been expanded to neighboring cities Seven Hills and Parma Heights. The three cities would like to honor Korean War veterans this September.

The veterans will be honored on September 14 at the UAW hall located in Parma. The event committee is accepting names of Korean veterans from these cities and also donations from individuals or business to purchase a commemorative gift for the veterans.

Donations are tax deductible and checks can be made out to the VFW Post 1974. If you would like to mail a donation, please send it to VFW Post 1974, 4305 Woodrow Avenue, Parma, Ohio 44134.
