Refresh, Retreat, Learn At Oct. 29 Women's Health Expo

Gather a group of girlfriends and loved ones for a refreshing morning of candid conversation with clinical experts about women’s health topics, plus an array of shopping opportunities, at UH Parma Medical Center’s Women’s Health Expo on Saturday, October 29.

The free Women’s HealthExpo will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Holiday Inn - Cleveland South, 6001 Rockside Road, Independence. Registration, complimentary health screenings and breakfast start at 8 a.m. Before the event and during breaks, vendors will be selling jewelry, handbags, accessories, makeup, essential oils, home scents and gourmet foods.

“Women are often juggling so many schedules and issues for multiple people that it’s difficult to make time for ourselves,” says Kimberly Togliatti-Trickett, MD, Associate Chief Medical Officer of UH Parma Medical Center. “This is a unique opportunity to put yourself first and gain the insight you need to stay healthy, in order to take care of yourself and those around you.”

Learn how to handle urinary incontinence in a frank talk by urogynecologist Sherif El-Nashar, MD, PhD, and hear about advances in gynecologic exams with OB/GYN Steven Galun, MD. Multiple physician specialists will participate in panel discussions, where the audience will have a chance to ask those questions you’ve been afraid to address before.

Get a group of friends together and register today. To register, call 877-597-6348 between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
