Hospital Foundation Surpasses $200,000 Fundraising Goal At Glittering Gala
More than 450 community members celebrated the philanthropic work of the Parma Hospital Health Care Foundation at a black-tie gala that raised $211,000 to benefit the health of the community.
The 27-year-old Foundation continues its mission to support the community-based efforts of University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. This year, the Foundation raised money for expansion of the Well-being Retreat at UH Parma’s Seidman Cancer Center and construction of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber for chronic wound patients at the Outpatient Center.
Top supporters of this elegant event, co-chaired by Angelo and Mary Jo Pimpas, included Legacy Health Services, Forest City Enterprises Inc., the Parma Hospital Auxiliary, Cardiovascular Clinic Inc., Community Hospitalists/Physician Staffing, Embassy Healthcare, Key Bank, the Medical Staff of University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, Mobile Hyperbaric Centers LLC, and Weston Hurd LLP.
