Early Morning Fire On January 17th.

The Parma Fire Department responded to a fire at approximately 3:30 on January 17th. in the 5900 block of South Park Dr. It took twenty firefighters about thirty minutes to extinguish the fire that originated in the basement and traveled through the floor into the upstairs. Firefighters found the residents with children outside the house upon their arrival awakened by smoke detectors. There were no injuries reported. The cause and dollar loss of the fire are under investigation at this time.
