"WiFi: It's Everywhere--What You Need to Know"

NEOPC (Northeast Ohio Personal Computers) welcomes Jake Joy of Lorain County Community College to present a look at WiFi today, from the IEEE 802.11 standard that defines it to choosing a router to create a WiFi space in your home. He'll discuss its limitations, potential and vulnerabilities. Dual band? What do all those letters mean--g, n, ac? He'll explore these questions and more. We offer conversation and refreshments at the Porter Room at Westlake Porter Public Library at 6:30 p.m.; meeting starts at 7:00. Free, and all are welcome.
