Paraprofessional Training: Working with Students with Autism

This training for paraprofessionals will address autism and the developmental challenges associated with the disorder. The role and responsibilities of the paraprofessional working with children within the classroom and school environment will be overviewed with an emphasis on strategies to enchance children's developmental skills in the areas of social interaction, language/communication and cognitive processing/problem solving.
